Ephesians 5: 19-20
"Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; - Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ"
Thanksgiving always translates into thanks – living for every Christian as a pattern of their daily lives. Thanking God for day to day provision, protection, blessing, sleeping and waking up etc;is always pleasing to God all the way, provoking God to bless us more.
Thanksgiving not only moves the heart of God, it moves His hands as well. When we start our day thanking him the rest of the day will be miraculously settled, but whenever we start the day forgetting to express our thanks the rest of the day and the rest of the week may be very unsettling.
The Bible verses above admonish us to thank God in all things and for all things, because there is no one that God has not blessed and touched in some ways. Thanksgiving is truly the “meal” of God. HE loves us to always thank Him so that we can have more blessings. A thankless Christian is a losing Christian. Thanksgiving makes getting in touch with God easy. We can sing simple songs in any language to thank HIM. THANK GOD today and watch how great and lovely your day will turn out to be! LORD I JUST THANK YOU TODAY.
