"And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing"

The Psalmist admonished those that cried unto the Lord with sorrow and were delivered out of their troubles and distresses. Even after the deliverance, they should continue to give thanksgiving to God for hearing them and acting on their behalf. God is always pleased with our quality thanksgiving.

Our Lord Jesus Christ taught us to give thanks to the Father in all the cases of miracles He enjoyed. He thanked God for simple things as food to critical issues of raising the dead. There is nothing too small or too big for Jesus to give thanks.

Brethren, let us develop the attitude of giving thanks in and out of season. It is pleasing to God. Complaints and murmuring are displeasing to God. Lack of gratitude can kindle the wrath and the anger of God. Numbers 11:1. Says “And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord ; and the Lord heard it ; and His anger was kindled ; and the fire of the Lord burnt among them, that were in the uttermost parts of the camp” This happened to them because of transgression of not giving thanks for the little they had. It was prayers that stopped the fire, but the damage had been done. Lift up your voice of thanksgiving to God everyday. Amen.

1) Father, thank you most sincerely for the light of another day, in Jesus Name.

2) Lord, thank you for daily watch of my spirit soul and body, in Jesus Name.

3) Lord, thank you for the daily provision of life’s necessity in my life, in Jesus Name.

4) Father, I bless your name for all the benefits you direct towards me and my family, in Jesus Name.

5) Lord, thank you for that auto accident that did not lead to death, in Jesus Name.

6) Almighty God, thank you for every procedure that leads to life, in Jesus Name.

7) Father, thank you for the salvation of my soul, in Jesus Name. Amen.
