Psalms 103:2
"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all HIS benefits."
Blessing the name of the Lord is one of the habits of giving gratitude to God. The Psalmist stirred himself to the duty to praise God for every benefit he received from the Lord. There is no benefit from God that is too small to give thanks. God is the fountain and foundation of all benefits received by mankind. PRAISE GOD.
Brethren, if we do not give thanks for the benefits, then it means that we forget them. The benefits of God to us is in abundance and we should not forget them at all. Forgetting to give thanks amount to ignoring who God is in the process of life.
The auto accident that occurred in your life that did not lead to injury or death. All the traveling grace on daily basis to and from work place. The provision of roof over your head and food on your table. What about the salvation of your soul? We have abundant issues for giving thanks to God for His loving kindness and tender mercies, not only for this season, but always. God is pleased when we give HIM thanks and Glory. Praise God.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for another benefit of the day, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for the salvation of my soul, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, thank you for the greatness of your mercy and grace in my life, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, thank you for the daily load of benefits, in my life, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, thank you for giving me my daily bread, in Jesus Name.
6) Almighty God, thank you for divine protection of my household, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, thank you most sincerely for the abundance of your blessing, in Jesus Name. Amen.
