John15:13
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends"
It is the highest degree of love for someone to lay down his life even for whatever reason. There is no other record in the history of mankind to match the supremacy and excellence of the love that Christ demonstrated. Can we ever love as Christ loves us?
Jesus always take us as His friends. He can do anything for those regarded as friends. It means that friendship should not be despised. In verse 14 of same chapter Jesus said, “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you”. Friends should look out for the good of friends and not otherwise.
Though, we do not always do as Jesus commands us in the gospel; still He laid down His life for us. It was because of the greater love He Had for our sake. He called us friends because of love. His friendship with us is motivated by love. He first loved us and there is need to love Him as well. Do we love Jesus as we should? Yes or No. Jesus still loves us as HE should. Amen. LOVE HIM!!!

1) Father, thank you for your sacrificial love for me and my family, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for your unfailing love in my life, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, thank you for all the love extended to me and my family despite our shortcoming, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, thank you for the power of love over my destiny, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, take away sorrow and tears from my life, in Jesus Name.
6) Almighty God, arise in your love and favor me in a new dimension in Jesus Name.
7) Father, let me experience your overflowing power of love in my life and family, in Jesus Name. Amen.
