"Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,"
Love is a “weapon” in the hands of Christians to defeat every type of unkindness in life. This life is so unkind in some cases and we should thread with love that is kind in nature to mitigate the unkindness. When you are kind to people; do not expect them to be kind to you in return. Actually, they may be very unkind and gather more unkindness against you. However, if you can posses the grace of love and stretch a bit more in love, you will be the winner.
Love is kind, because our God is kind. Kindness is one of the attributes of God. He assured the people of Israel under Prophet Isaiah in Chapter 54:10 that His everlasting kindness will not be removed or departed from them.
If you are kind, you have love and you are in line with God’s agenda. Be kind in your words. Tell people kind words. Let them know you love them regardless their “foolishness” in thy eyes. Let love prevail not only in the month of Valentine” St. Valentine displayed sacrificial love spreading the gospel and loving without dissimulation. Love as if tomorrow will never come. Love of God is kind and is real. Love can add to your credit for eternity. It is an integral part of genuine Christianity. Love others as yourself.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the kind love you have for the whole world, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for keeping me in your love every time, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, do not remove your everlasting love from me and my family, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, teach my heart to love the unlovable, in Jesus Name.
5) Almighty God, keep me and my household safe in thy everlasting love, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, let me love without dissimulation, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, favor me and my household with thy love, in Jesus Name. Amen.
