John 14:27
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
The above passage was a relieving divine assurance spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ, when He was getting ready to fulfil the purpose and plans of the Father. It was evident that the disciples: though prepared by Jesus, but not ready for the challenges.
Jesus committed the disciples to the true peace they needed in the midst of the the trials and tribulations ahead of them. He spiritually prepared and empowers them. He handed over them to the comforter which is the Holy Spirit to guide them.
Bretheren, who is your guide? Whose peace do you want? Jesus’s , your family’s or friend’s? Watch out, because they are in need of guide and peace too. Depend on Jesus to be your guide and peace, not even your bank account, position or connection, because they can all fail you. He (JESUS) is the perfect guide and peace. You will have aboundance of peace if you allow HIM to lead in all your moves.
