MY PEACE Part II : Thursday March 17

John 14:27

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

What is this peace? It can be defined as living a life without disturbances and troubles. Is it possible to have peace in our contemporary world from this definition? Where can we then seek for real peace in our world that is full of disturbances and troubles? The peace under reference here is the peace than can be found only in/with Jesus. Praise God.

When you have frictions with people and you maintain your calm and cool, that is peace. When there is a lot of traffic and you wait in it patiently, that is also peace. To have peace, your life must not be a function of any circumstances. When the circumstances around you dictate disturbance and trouble and you can recall the scripture above you will have peace. Amen!!!!

Brethren, as Christians, we should not allow the peace eluding the world to affect us. We should remain peaceful unconditionally. Do not base your peace upon the situations or conditions around you. How can one be a peacemaker when one does not have peace. Let the words of “peace like a river” minister to you always. Amen.

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, thank you for the assurance of peace in my life, in Jesus Name.

2) Lord, thank you for giving me peace like a river, in Jesus Name.

3) Lord, all I need is your peace that will overflow, in Jesus Name.

4) Father, remove what can steal and snatch away my peace in Jesus Name.

5) Lord, let the blessed assurance overflow in my destiny, in Jesus Name.

6) Father, give me your peace that no mankind can take away from me, in Jesus Name.

7) Almighty God, give me your peace to be able to be a peacemaker to all, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Have a blessed and wonderful day!
