HE SHALL LIFT YOU UP”. Part II : Tuesday May 10

James 4:10

"Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, and HE shall lift you up"

It is easy to humble yourself in the presence of man, because you want man to see the extent of how humble you are. However, God does not need your impression of humility on the outside. He needs us to be humble in and out of season genuinely. God can discern correctly what man cannot discern.

What the English scholars call controlled or managed humility will soon go away and will not work with God. if you are only humble for an agenda, it will not last long before it is bursted. Circumstances may change, but your humility must not change. Jesus is still the same. Our God is still the same. Humble thyself in all and wait for the next step that God will take on your behalf.

Get down for the Lord and HE will ensure that you be lifted up. Do away with the spirit of pride. Embrace the real humility before God. No one can deceive God. He knows the real and fake humility. There is reward for both. Every worth you have and you are come from the Lord, therefore, give them back to HIM, so that you can have more. Praise God.
