Jeremiah 14:3
"And their nobles have sent their little ones to the waters: they came to the pits, and found no water; they returned with their vessels empty; they were ashamed and confounded, and covered their heads"
When ever there is lack of water, many things in life are adversely affected and go wrong. No one is spared. The nobles felt the pain more, because they might need more water than those who are not nobles. The worst was going on in and around Jerusalem. Every living creature was affected.
The people were desperately in search of water, even to the pits, and they found no water; they returned with empty vessels. One can imagine the extent of devastation and frustration with the people.
The above situation described is not a joke. When there is no water hardly can life be bearable. No water. They returned empty daily after long search for water, without success. As many as might be in any dry situation; ranging from spiritual, moral, financial to physical this day ; shall receive the showers of blessing in Jesus Name. Amen. The people repented and God reversed the irreversible and gave them rain in due season. Please note that when the people of God live in sin, God refuses to hear. “To whom much is given much is required”
