Habakkuk 3:17-19
"Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruits be in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock from the fold, and there shall be no herb in the stalls; 18) Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. 19) The Lord God is my strength , and He will make my feet like hinds' feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
The prophet declared firmly, that if the fig tree had no fruits, the vines unproductive, livestock scarce and supply of herbs slowed down, yet he would still rely, depend and rejoice in the Lord. In short, the prophet re affirmed that regardless; no matter what ; he would never stop rejoicing in the Lord.
God decided on what would happen to the provisions for HIS people. He controlled the systemic release of the supply. He knew how far they would go with limited supply and intervened again when necessary to sustain the people.
The purpose of the cutting off of supplies was to get the attention of the people. It was a process that went down in the history of the people of God. What you are going through at present is a process. Until the process is over God is still God and in absolute control. Are you in the middle of a process? Do not give up. Wait unto the Lord. HE is watching. Why watch and seeing the people suffering? God wanted HIS people to move away from their sins so HE would step in and let them learn ; return to HIM. Break far away from sin so as to allow God to end the process. Praise God.
Prayer points for the day
1) Lord, thank you for the miracle to sleep and to wake up in Jesus Name. Amen.
2) Father, thank you for keeping me and my family this far in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, wash away all my sins and give me a clean bill of righteousness not to sin any more, in Jesus Name.
4) Almighty God, give me garment of righteousness, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, assign unto me and family angels of protection in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, prepare me every second for the second coming of our Lord Jesus, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, before this very year ends, let me see your glory manifest mightily in my life, in Jesus Name. Amen.
