Luke 2: 9-11
"And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid."
"And the angel said unto them, Fear not : for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people."
"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord."
The reason for the season is about Jesus and the advent of His Glory. He was born like we are born in flesh but with Holy Ghost conception. Jesus came for you and I. To save us from all evils here on earth. The announcement of HIS birth was special and all the life HE lived was super special. The Glory of Jesus in particular; till this generation is incomparable.
Unto us a child is born and unto us a Son is given to fulfill every testament of the Lord. Jesus is about the good tidings of great joy. He was sent as an unspeakable gift of the Father to all people but not every one has yet accepted HIM.
There is a link between the Glory Jesus carries and our destiny. All things are made by HIM and for HIM. He is alive to connect HIS glory with us. Every life in Christ is in for HIS glory. Why not be in for this Glory and leave the consequences to HIM? The Glory is super huge enough to go round the world. There shall be manifestation of the glory and that is why Jesus was born. The birth of Jesus was a divine plan to bring back the light of God back to us and reconcile and re connect us with our Maker. We need to surrender and make up our minds and turn to the source of our lives during this unique season.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for this great day in which you have made, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for your protection all over my life and family this year, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, purge me of all unrighteousness that can hinder my prayers, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, visit me with thy glory over glory this season in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, as this year 2016 rolls away, let all adversities and infirmities in my life be rolled away, in Jesus Name.
6) Almighty God, hear my supplication and let your glory shine over all reproach in my life and family, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, proclaim your verdict on everything and anything that may want to stand against your glory in my life, in Jesus Name. Amen.
