John 13:1
"Now before the feast of Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour was come that He should depart out of this world unto the Father, Having loved His own which were in the world, He loved them unto the end.
Jesus loves us till the end, and as a result we must show love that goes till the end. It further informs us that once love starts it should not stop no matter what! Kingdom love involves kingdom covenant, while the love according to the world can be most described as sterego love. (Friendship ends if you do not meet my expectations)
What is sterego love? It is according to the order of the day in our contemporary world; as long as you bring in something into the love, I remain in love. It is a wrong type of love in the kingdom of God. Love should have no expectations. Just love. Period. Love that gives without expecting to be loved. (Agape).
Changes in circumstances of people we love must not change the extend of love for one another. Jesus loves us the way we are. He loves us even in our circumstances. Jesus is still all out in the spiritual eager to shed His love for us not His blood again. He is coming soon. That is the Gospel truth. Are you ready to receive Jesus? Then love the way Jesus loves. Do you love the unloveable? Can God count on you to love the worst offenders? Open your heart this season and embrace the kingdom love. Praise God!!!
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for another kingdom week to seek your face, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for shedding your blood and Kingdom love to forgive my sins, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, thank you for the glorious Kingdom love that has been from the Ancient of days, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, give me the grace to love the unloveable, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, let me be able to shed my love out to reach the good, bad and the ugly, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, arise in your power of love and fight all my battles, in Jesus Name.
7) Almighty God, input the kingdom love in my hearts for ever, in Jesus Name. Amen.
