John 1:40-42
40 One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.
41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.
The equation of ‘Operation Andrew’ is equal to souls winning. Apostle Andrew listened to the speaking and teaching of John. Also, Andrew was addicted to listening to the word of God. He started the spiritual journey with his own family. He sought and found his brother to win his soul to Christ. True to the proverb “Charity begins from home”
To win souls of people for Christ involves Christ Himself. He would not leave us to it alone. Christ was sent to this world for the purpose of our eternity. He wants us to be with Him and reign together in the Kingdom of God. He wants as many as could make it to the place of eternal rest.
Souls winning is sharing experience of what Christ Has been to you or done for you since your salvation. The truth is that no one can offer what he/she does not have. A truly saved individual should be able to express the goodness and faithfulness of God to others. Be another Andrew of our generation. Find people from inside of your own immediate family to speak about Jesus and ensure you bring them into the Kingdom. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for your merciful kindness upon my life and family, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for another day of grace and glory in thy presence in Jesus Name.
3) Father, make me another “Andrew” of our time in Jesus Name. Amen.
4) Lord, fight every battle of my life, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, deliver me from every battle, known and unknown, in Jesus Name.
6) Almighty God, let the word of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight and men, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, cancel every negative pronouncements against my destiny in Jesus Name. Amen.
