Hebrews 12:14
"Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord"
This is the special season of the Prince of Peace, when God sent His only begotten Son to us to bring peace to the whole world. As a result of the Prince of Peace, we are encouraged to follow peace with all men -meaning that we should be at peace with all men, regardless whether they are at peace with us or not. This seems tough, but that is what God wants from us.
The truth is that some people will not just allow for peace, but we must make some allowance for peace in holiness so that we shall see our Lord at the end. Amen.
For us, we are to be encouraged not to allow any circumstance of this world to take away our peace. When people lose the peace of mind, there is nothing left to live for. A life without peace is a life living “dead”
As the Bible passage above says, we should make peace by all means with all men for the sake of our eternity. Take the necessary step today. Start with the members of your household. Let the peace of God emanates from inside out. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for this season of peace of mind, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for the journey so far, in this year 2017, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, thank you for giving me peace no matter the situation in the world, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, I need more of your peace to live my life, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, give me peace everlasting, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, let the covenant of your peace manifest into my life and that of my generation yet unborn, in Jesus Name.
7) Almighty God, let your peace flow like a river in my life and family, in Jesus Name. Amen.
