“THY WORD IS SETTLED”. Final Part : Friday March 2

Psalms 119:89

"For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven."

The word of God is always certain, fixed sure and undeniable, whereas the word of man is always opposite. Man’s word changes so often with time and seasons that affect man. The word of God is settled in heaven where everything is perfect and remain eternally unchanged.

The power of Heaven has confirmed how settled God’s word is. God’s plans and purposes always come with divine settlement and no one can unsettle them. Once God speaks the word, we must believe it and that settles it. They are settled words backed up by covenant power of heaven.

The key message here for us is to let the word of God speak to us and for us ; believe that the word is as eternal as God. Let your heart be settled with the word of God. Do not waste God’s given talent. Use your talent according to the will, purpose and the promises of God, and you will be settled. Stand up for the word. Defend the word to the best of your ability. Do something about the word. Let the settled word of God have a place of correction and righteousness in your life. Ref 2 Tim. 3:16 and Hebrews 4:12 elaborate more about further power of settlement. Please read the scriptures for more details. Praise God.
