Matthew 27:54
"Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God"
The earthquake is one of the God’s divine factors to prove HIS unspeakable and sovereign powers. The centurion and all that were with him securing the tomb of Jesus were deliberately and carefully selected because they were known for their toughness. However, when they saw the effects of the earthquake, and the many things that were done, they became frightened and surrendered to the Son of God.
So many things put people in and to fear, but in the case of the centurion and his team ; they were guilty of taking the innocent Son of God through the pains, torture, trials and eventual cruxifixction. The truth is that when iniquities abound then fears abound. The truth of the resurrection factors prevailed at last. Amen. That the grave was found open is still a virtue of the resurrection Spirit, Power and Factor. Hey, no one can take that truth away from the followers and believers of Christ.
As of now, what is your relationship with the Son of God? ( Jesus ) What does the fellowship of HIS sufferings mean to you? Are you conformable unto his death? All the three questions will make a Christian to be dead to sins, fears etc. Take your rightful stand in your faith. Be persuaded that there is an eternal promise that is for those called the children of resurrection. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the day in which you have made, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, let the power of resurrection rescue me and family from every guilt of the past, present and future, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, it is time, let the resurrection factor and its power be with me and family, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, give me grace to know you more and more and your power of resurrection, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, let the power of resurrection fall upon my and defeat all my known and unknown adversaries, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, before this season ends, let me and my family experience the raw power of resurrection, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, my eyes are on you, let the miracles of resurrection take place in my household and this generation, in Jesus Name. Amen.
