1 John 5:4
"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith"
It is nothing new that this world we live in is too much with us and into us. Many believers have been so much caught up easily in the world that they end up not doing what they teach and not doing what they hear. The world has placed traps of flesh on our wilderness path. God takes us through the wilderness for a purpose and that purpose is to give us victory at the end. Amen. The world impedes faith and brings fear. Do not run away from your Goliath; who seems big at the beginning. The killing of Goliath was the beginning of change in life for David. It was a victory that moved him from a shepherd boy to a King. It is better to walk alone with God than with the ungodly crowd and your victory will be sure.
As a child of God, we have been created to overcome the world in victory by faith. To enter the land of Jericho in victory, God gave Joshua an unusual method. Joshua had prepared his army and the army of Jericho was ready for the battle. However, victory was accomplished without a fight. The way and manner victory came was without the clash of the physical generals. The fight was between the unseen heavenly generals and Jericho generals.
For your eternal divine victory, God is able to give you an unusual strategy, even in your dreams today. You will not miss the moments of your victory this season in Jesus Name. God’s strategies are better than our full preparations. Joshua prepared his army for the war, but God had another plan. We need to get prepared and leave the rest to God. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Lord, thank you for your power of divine victory for me and my family, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, prepare me as you prepare Joshua for victory, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, let this season of divine victory speak for me, in Jesus Name.
4) Almighty God, arise for me and let me overcome all of my known and unknown adversaries, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, do not allow the world to get too much into my destiny, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, the world will not impede my path to heaven, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, give me victory that will lead me to eternity, in Jesus Name.
