Jeremiah 1:18-19
18) "For behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brazen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.
19) And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, said the Lord to deliver thee."
God ; not any Angel, prophet, teacher, evangelist or bishop is speaking in the above Bible passage. God knows the various types and ways battles come to a man sent on assignment. Brethren, any where you find yourself, whether you believe it or not you are on divine assignment; written or unwritten. Be prepared, there will be oppositions. There could be fight from within and without. However, Proverbs 21:31 Says “The horse is prepared against the day of battle : but safety is of the Lord” The NLT (New Living Translation ) says “The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but victory belongs to the Lord. Amen.
This topic will go a long way until all the measures of victory put in place are discussed as the Holy Spirit interprets to us, because the two verses above are loaded with what God is calling our attention to; even till today Saying “BEHOLD”. The first thing God did was to construct a strong defenced city to defend Jeremiah and the true followers.
God is looking for your attention saying today that He Had made you to be “A defenced city” which represents the powerful might of God in God’s own ways. God used the defenced city as a tool to ensure complete victory for Prophet Jeremiah who had been threatened by everything, everything and anything. Are you under any threat today? You have been declared as A defenced city, in Jesus Name. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for a season and times of divine victory, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for giving me victory against every sin of my life and family, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, let me and my family enjoy and experience the life of victory all the time, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, let me be victorious in the realm of the spirituality, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, as this year is progressing let my life progress in victory, in Jesus Name. Amen.
6) Lord, declare my life a defenced city against any attacks and opposition, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, my defenced city will not be destroyed, in Jesus Name. Amen.
