Jeremiah 1:18-19
18) "For behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brazen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.
19) And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, said the Lord to deliver thee."
The final verse 19 of the above is about the assurance of total victory. Life is full of variety of fights and battles. Indeed, this life is a warfare nit a fanfare. There are fights you can see and those you could not see, but God’s presence in those battles are sure for your complete victory. Amen. Please note that there is no victory without battle or fight. Insert your name and family’s name wherever you have “thee”, so that you can personalize verse 19.
The focus today is on the sequence of verse 19. Coming along from from verse 18. With all the defensive measures put in place by God, the giver of victory and deliverance, verse 19 declares that they would surely fight anyways, but the realization of the end result is that they would not prevail. Those in the fight against you are the powers that matter, but God’s presence and power matter most in the fields of battle.
How do you perceive the battle compared with your God? There is no battle bigger than the power of God. Who do you want in the fore front of the battle? Your weapons, knowledge, plans, wisdom or your God? You have been prepared for victory since you became born again according to 1 John 5:4-5. Approach every battle placing God ahead and taking Jesus with you. Talk to God daily in your morning prayers before you go out because you do not know the new battle for the new day, but God knows. HE will plan for your victory ahead, in Jesus Name. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for a new victory according to my new day, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for speaking victory into every department of my life, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, thank you for the assurance of complete victory from now and onwards, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, move my life from any warfare to total fanfare for total victory, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, I will not be denied my blessings/victory when it most matters, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, as this year is moving on, let total victory follow me and family till the end, in Jesus Name.
7) Abba Father, in every battle I find myself, be with me always for total victory and deliverance, in Jesus Name.
