Hebrews 4:16
"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need"
There is a throne that carries grace and it is called the “throne of grace”. Our Lord Jesus is seated at the right hand side of the Almighty God. It exists in the realm of the Spirit and all issues of life flow, emanate and are settled there. God is always in control and our Lord Jesus Christ is the channel of grace. The road to the throne has been cleared and declared opened to those that have confident in Christ Jesus to approach/come.
Let us therefore come” is a clarion call of grace. How do we come? Boldly. An open invitation to those that have nothing to fear under the bondage of sin. It was the grace that brings the boldness to come to is. Any one that makes it to the throne has good things necessary to obtain/receive and enjoy. The next part of the devotional would emphasize on what to obtain approaching the throne and the purpose.
The throne of grace is reserved for the repented and forgiven ; sins and sinners are strangers there. It is a place of new beginnings to new life. It is a Spiritual place where mercy is administered and channeled by Jesus to mankind; through chosen vessels and favorites of God. Grace of God abound on the throne and we are hereby called to make a move towards the throne. You must have a good and constant relationship with Christ to know the direction of the throne. The roadmap is in Christ. Follow and believe in HIM in order to have all access to the throne. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the season of the power of grace, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, remove every barrier of sins and iniquities that will not allow me to make it to the throne of grace, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, make me a chosen vessel to channel your grace, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, let the power of grace rest upon every area of my life, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, grant me all access to your throne of grace, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, lead me to the throne of grace, in Jesus Name.
7) Abba Father, do not allow me and family to miss the throne of grace, in Jesus Name. Amen.
