AMAZING GRACE SANCTUARY

"This I say to then, walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh"

The above Bible passage is actually addressing one of the issues relating to weightier matters. To walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. It is in the Spirit that every thing in the world is controlled. The Spirit protects the flesh because the flesh is exposed to destruction.

When anything is happening in the flesh, the Spirit is fully aware of what is going on, but when things happen in the Spirit, the flesh will be unable to discern it. As a result, Paul is admonishing us in the above Bible passage to walk in the Spirit in order to defeat the flesh. Paul, the writer walked in the flesh all his life, until he encountered Jesus. Walking in the Spirit opens heaven and it commands the grace and the power of God to become an achiever beyond the comprehension of man.

In view of the above, to walk in the flesh leads to fleshly decisions in life. Our Lord Jesus walked in the Spirit and God walked and worked with Him and in Him. Do not allow your life to be controlled by the flesh. Let the Spirit of God be in charge and there will be a difference in your life. Ask God today to give you the grace to always walk in the power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus Mighty Name.

1) Father, thank you for giving me the grace of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus Name.

2) Father, let my flesh lie low under the Spirit, in Jesus Name.

3) Lord, I need the power of the Holy Spirit to live my life, in Jesus Name.

4) Father, I need more of the Spirit than flesh, in Jesus Name.

5) Lord, give me the power to defeat every thing pertaining to flesh, in Jesus Name.

6) Lord, lead me with the power of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus Name.

7) Lord, deliver me from the lust of flesh, in Jesus Name.
