"When you bring a thanksgiving offering to the Lord, sacrifice it properly so you will be accepted."
KJV version
"And when he will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the Lord, offer it at your own will"
The issue of Thanksgiving has been happening in the Old Testament. The common lesson we all know was in the beginning with Abel and Cain. It was said that the sacrifice of Abel was more quality and acceptable before the Lord, and it was well recognized more than the one from his brother; which was from left overs. God rejected Cain and his offerings of thanksgiving. May God not reject our sacrifice of thanksgiving, in Jesus Name. Amen.
The above Bible passage is admonishing us not to give thanks with left overs : as if we are compelled to offer thanksgiving by force. It goes further to enable us to know that thanksgiving can be more quality and or less quality. Our God deserves quality thanksgiving from us. There are long time benefits for quality thanks givers.
This devotional shows that we can appreciate God with our life and substance and we should know that God deserves the best to be attached to HIS name. The question today, is how do we appreciate God? Do we diminish God with our thanksgiving. Let it come from the heart of willingness. There is eternal benefit for giving quality thanks to God with your talent, time and treasure. It is up to you to give thanks in a proper way so that God will accept you and your sacrifice. Amen.

2) Lord, take away whatever will not allow me to honor you, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, let my sacrifice of thanksgiving be acceptable before you in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, give me the grace to thank you always, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, make me a monumental thanks giver, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, remember your covenant of eternal benefit for me and my family, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, teach my heart to give you quality thanksgiving at all times, in Jesus Name. Amen.
