Job 29:20
"My glory was fresh in me, and my bow was renewed in my hand."
Job started with extremely fresh glory in his early life. He knew God and God knew him. Still the devil struck and put Job’s life in a limbo. Job faced all sorts of negative situations. He was humiliated by family members, including his wife. Friends did not spare him of the time he needed comfort from them. However, God Has better plans for Job.
In the above Bible passage, Job was recounting the days of his fresh glory. He remembered how people identified with his success. He recalled how he was the man to reach out to in favors and mercies, yet at his own time of need all things went down south, but God has bigger plans for his life. He waited and trusted God more.
Brethren, the story of Job may be applicable to someone reading this devotional today. Never give up. The glory will become fresh again. Learn from the experience of Job. He did not talk himself down with the opinion of others. He owned his own joy in the Lord and thee was a greater glory of turnaround. His change came and he was celebrated. Your change is coming and your glory will become fresh and freshener, in Jesus Name. Amen.
