1 John 5:4
"For whatsoever is born of God, overcometh the world : and this is the victory that overcometh the world, our faith."
Once we have the victory that overcomes this world, which includes sins, temptation etc, it will be clear path to the Kingdom of God. Why? Because this world we are living is in big, mean mess. Lives are prone to be easily trapped by the demands of the world and then barriers come to threaten our victory.
We must be determined not to allow the tricks of the devil to trap and snatch us away from the path to glorious victory. We ourselves must not aid the tricks of the devil. Whatever the devil gives cannot last. In particular, every victory not based on God’s reliance will be in contrary.
Finally today, God is still in the business of making us to be gloriously victorious. Our victory has been settled in Jesus Christ as stated in 1 Corinthians 15:57. Nothing can change the word of God. Stand by it. Live by it and you will surely enjoy a sustainable glorious victory, in Jesus Name. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for all the glorious victory released for me and family, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, cleanse my life and multiply victory in the presence of my mockers, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, settle my victory beyond evil hands, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, sustain my victory for ever, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, give me heavenly based victory, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, arise and perfect the process and season of my victory, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, let me experience the victory that will overcome all the temptations against my life, in Jesus Name. Amen.
