Matthew 6:33
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you"
When we seek the kingdom of God first, we are seeking the perfection of God and when we seek the righteousness of God, we are seeking the best perfection beyond those of man (the Pharisees, the learned, the Sadducees and the scribes. It is expected to ask the question. How do we seek? We seek in thanksgiving , supplication and prayers. When we seek after God, let us not take it into our hands again, but leave it in the hands of God. The All knowing and All sufficient – Understanding God. He is the KING in charge of the kingdom and we are the citizens. Amen.
The great thing about seeking first to God in our prayers is that He is able to do more abundantly than what our own efforts alone can produce. Jesus Had taught us to Hallow the Name of God the Father first. “Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. “Thy Kingdom come” is giving honor to Him before asking for anything.
Ask God for great and big things ; greater and bigger things shall be added unto you. Do not shortchange yourselves by asking God small and little things. We are serving the biggest God, who is bigger than the biggest. In addition, ask God for spiritual things and earthly things shall be considered to be added unto you. Ask, seek and knock for great things with the assurance and in Jesus Name. Amen.
