10) "And the disciples came, and said unto HIM (Jesus), Why speaketh thou unto them in parables?
11) HE (Jesus) answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given"

Verse 10 above reveals that the disciples were not only with Jesus when the scenario of His preaching changed. The question they raised was “Why speaketh thou unto them in parables?” Because Jesus wanted others who were not disciples to have more understanding of HIM and how things work in the kingdom.

The disciples wanted others to know who Jesus was: of whom they themselves were still learning to know. The mystery of the kingdom is spiritual secret and Jesus wanted all to have understanding. Amen. Are you willing to have the understanding of the mystery? Follow Christ.

There may be mercy, kindness and righteousness, forgiveness, healing and deliverances, but our emotions and slackness would not work when it comes to the principles of the kingdom. Let your understanding of the parables be strong enough to break the shell covering the fruit inside it. Be closer to Jesus. Be consistent and fervent in the word of God and the mystery shall be made known to you. Amen.

1) Father, thank you for teaching me to have understanding heart, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, give me the grace to break the “shell” covering the mystery of the kingdom, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, help me to guard my loins so as to understand the principles of the kingdom, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, let my life continue to grow in the wonderful kingdom, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, consider me for thy eternal kingdom, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, give me the understanding of the principles of the kingdom, in Jesus Name.
7) Abba Father, let heavens open to me in a new dimension, in Jesus Name. Amen.
