2 Timothy 1:6
"Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting my hands."
This final part is to remind us and encourage not to allow any gift of God in our lives to become inactive; just as Paul the Apostle had to put his spiritual son in remembrance. There is no man without the gift and/or the gifting of God. Please use your gifts to the glory of God. Stir up the gifts and there shall be dividends for you at last. To achieve any of God’s plans and purposes in life, never lose sight to stir up and activate the grace of God upon your life. Amen.
The gift which God had endowed for you can be wasted if not stirred up. A classical example could be made in the medical areas whereby some liquid medications require to be stirred up or properly shaken before use. Such medications have such rules and they must be obeyed before there will be desired results. Or else, the user will use surface floating lose and watery medication; and that will amount to waste of efforts. The drug manufacturers and the doctors that give the prescription are not to blame, if the stirring up of the bottle is overlooked, or not done properly, then the use of such medication will not be effective.
Any one living life outside grace of God, will find it hard to be made the man/ woman that God Has in plans for him/her. Stir up the grace of God and you will always have formulae for abundant success, in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, I will not waste the gift/grace of God in my life, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, take away sins from my life and let grace of God be sufficient for me, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, let your grace be active in my life, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, help me not to frustrate any of your gifts in my life, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, let me and my household enjoy the benefits of your gif/grace in my life, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, let me have abundance of successes because of your grace/gifts in my life, in Jesus Name.
7) Almighty God, let there be enough stirring up of grace for desired results in my life, in Jesus Name. Amen.
