Genesis 26:2-3
"And the Lord appeared unto him, (Isaac) and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell the of:
3) Sojourn in this land , and I will be with thee, and will bless thee: for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;"
The blessings that follow divine positioning are plenty, however, they are not without challenges. The Bible records that Isaac prospered, waxed great and making onward progress until he was very great, after he sowed and received an hundredfold in the same year, because God positioned him where he was. Genesis 26:12-13 refer.
The blessings that come with divine positioning are always with envy. Genesis 26:14 refers. In addition all the wells he inherited were destroyed. The Philistines hindered the works of Isaac, but he prevailed at last ; simply because he was positioned in that same land that was hit with double famine.
Divine positioning is of the Lord. Isaac yielded to God despite all the plenteous prosperity of Egypt and God revealed His power of divine positioning. The enemies did strive with/against Isaac, but he stood based upon what God had said. Brethren, let us stand where God Has planted us, no matter how the enemies may strive against us. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for keeping me standing in the middle of all ant-agonies, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, let me prevail against all the pranks of my enemies, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, reveal to me your power of divine positioning, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, as you were with Isaac, be with me, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, speak the word of spiritual reality into my life and family, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, this very month, no matter the dryness in the land, let me receive hundredfolds of my labor, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, take me and family higher than the envy of any one that represent the “Philistine” in Jesus Name. Amen.
