“TURN THEE EASTWARDS” Part 1 : Tuesday September 10

1 Kings 17:2-3

"And the word of the Lord came unto him ( Elijah the Tishbite) saying,
3) Get thee hence and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Che-rith, that is before Jordan"

God is always in the bigger picture before there can be divine positioning/placement. This may not always be in terms of where we are physically positioned, but can be specific purpose in life wrapped in the process. God has assignments for Elijah and to fulfill God’s assignment God had made full arrangement for his success.

God fully knowing the dangers ahead of Elijah, there was a place prepared to secure him and provide for all his needs to keep him alive. Water and food. The water to be supplied by the brook and the foods to be supplied by the ravens! What a Mighty God of divine positioning we serve! Amen.

Elijah moved ; when God spoke and he was able to fulfill God’s plans and purposes, despite all the harassments of King Ahab and his wife. Brethren, no matter what you face in the positioning of God, there is always success at the end. Amen. The children of Israel faced the Red Sea, but they got to the promised land.
