Psalms 119:164
“Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgements”
For what God Has done for us in the past, at present and what He will do in future, let us ask ourselves; how many times do we praise the name of the Lord in a day? Or let us put the question this way; how many times should we praise God in a day? King David probably wrote the above passage to celebrate God’s righteous judgement for him and on behalf of his family.
David recalled the blessings of God’s Righteous judgement against everything and every situation that troubled him. The victory God secured for David against the lion and bear was a righteous judgement. The killing of Goliath who held the whole nation of Israel into standstill was a righteous judgement; hence the sporadic daily praising of the Name of the Lord.
God is the only one that can give judgement in total righteousness. He knows every bit of that situation that is bringing fear of the unknown to you. Seek Him in earnest and in righteous judgement shall you be vindicated and established. God cannot be mocked in the process of giving Him praises. Remember Paul and Silas. Your praises matter to HIM. He is waiting to hear praises from you this season. Rise up and praise Him more than David did and you will experience unhindered divine blessings, in Jesus Name Amen.
