John 15:13
“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends”
It is a gift of greater grace to be able to have greater love to the point of laying down one’s life not only for families but also for friends. Jesus did lay down His life for everyone. This singular act of love led to greater honor for Jesus.
However, He (Jesus) had to endure the process. It was the greater love of Jesus that led to the Father in heaven to giving Jesus the Name above every other names up till our generation. No matter how we have disappointed and failed Him, He would never ever stop loving us, because, love is His nature and HE was given to us out of love that God Has for mankind. Amen. At the mention of the Name of Jesus all knees must bow and tongues confess. Greater love earned Jesus the greatest honor in heaven and earth. Amen.
Greater love can cause hard times for us and will take a lot out from us to bear. It may even take the best of us, but God is faithful to do more than the best for us. Amen. At the end, greater love that spoke for Jesus will speak for us. Let us go extra miles to show, demonstrate and give love to others especially those that are unloveable. Every one has love to share. It is the command of God. Amen.
