1 Peter 4:8 NKJV
“And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins”
Whatever we have or/and whoever we are is very important and enough to define us before men, however, the above Bible passage is speaking the mind of God for us to be fervency in love for one another. Loving others is commanding the nature of God and loving one another in fervency is loving God .
Fervent love is so powerful to cover, forgive and undo what ever sins have done. The love that God Has for mankind was the source of the unspeakable gift of Jesus ; who was given unto us to look into the affairs of men. Sacrificial love is fervent and Jesus demonstrated so much of it, especially for the sick and less privileged.
Brethren, let the lifestyle of our love be fervent for the people and so it shall be for the Lord. The equation is loving the people by loving God. We must love the people we see and by so doing, it will be easy for us to have faith in loving the invincible God. Love those who hurt, and it will eventually bring healing, in Jesus Name. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, let the mystery of fervent love bring peace to my life and family, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, let me love others the way you love me, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, give me the grace to love fervently, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, give me the grace to love the unloveable, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, let the power of love make a way of victory for me in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, grant me the grace that will forgive and forget multitude of sins, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, thank you for loving me beyond what I deserve, in Jesus Name. Amen.
