“.........that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his soul.”

The kind of bonded love between Jonathan and David was divine. If not, Jonathan would have naturally hated David as his father did. As believers, we must know that whatever God Had arranged is perfect and there would be no regrets or sorrows. Amen. It was a fervent love from Jonathan which David also received without any iota of doubts. It was not a love on deceit or based on win-lose basis. May God send to us a friend like Jonathan that loved David without asking for any rewards, in Jesus Name. Amen.

As a reminder, Jonathan was a crown prince, but David was an anointed crown king.
1 Samuel 18:2 revealed how Jonathan stripped himself of all the princely recognitions and placed them on David. Jonathan also emptied his heart to David so that David would be protected. That was a friend closer and more than brothers of the same mother. Both of them agreed to seal and knit of their love under covenant.

Brethren, let us love Jesus with our souls and get knitted to him in everlasting covenant of love. Jesus can never ever break His love with us, because He entered into loving us with His precious blood. That is why we must be bonded in love with Jesus and our brethren in the household of faith and beyond. Amen.

1) Father, thank you for your divine bond of love for me and my family, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, do not let me be a Christian without love, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, send me my own “Jonathan” that will show and demonstrate true love for me, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, let your power of love heal every soul hurting this season, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, take me to a higher level of loving you to love the people, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, help my weariness and let me love the unloveable, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, give me the grace to love people like you have loved me, in Jesus Name. Amen.
