AMAZING GRACE SANCTUARY

“Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you”

The faith of the apostles was put to test immediately after the resurrection of Jesus. They could not withstand the process of the persecution and trials of our Lord Jesus and the after effects of what the Jews could come up with. Fears overwhelmed what they witnessed and their thoughts of the whole episode of torture from the arrest to crucification of Jesus.

As a result, they shut the doors against themselves. The other followers and believes would have also done the same thing. If the faith of the Apostles was tested in trying times, then no one could possibly be exempted from his/her faith being tested any time.

Fear gripped the apostles and others behind the shut doors and it continued until Jesus appeared to them with the assurance of “Peace be with you”. The appearance of Jesus was the answer to what they needed at the times of the crisis that rocked Jerusalem because of the resurrection. Jesus was the answer in the Bible days and still the answer for peace in our days. Amen.

1) Father, thank you for the breaking of another day, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for the assurance of your peace in my life and family, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, let be have and enjoy massive peace in the middle of crisis, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, whether the doors are shut or open, let me have peace that is flowing like a river, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, remove fear from every area of my life, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, when my faith is tested, give me grace to stand till the end in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, according to Luke 17:5, let my faith increase, in Jesus Name. Amen.
