John 14:6
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me”
Jesus is the source to eternal life. HE is the path to the Father, to the truth and the life. Let us recall what He said in John 11:25) “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life: ………”. The Bible passage above says that Jesus is the way. Where to? The way is pointing to eternal salvation. The way is to all forgivenesses. The way is to all heavenly blessings, because of the sacrifice for us. No one can sacrifice to the extent Jesus did. Therefore, no one is qualified to be the “way”, except Jesus.
He sacrificed His own peace for our troubles. He sacrificed His own riches for our poverty. He took our disobedience upon Himself. He took our sins to make us righteous. The blood of Calvary opened the way of salvation towards eternity.
Jesus became the only way because of Calvary. He is the only way to the truth of the gospel and to the life God Has ordained for us. As a child of God, please be the leader in your surrounding to champion the way to Jesus and eventually that Jesus’s way will lead to the life eternal. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the power of the cross, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, let me not derail from the way, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, lead me through the way to life eternal life, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, I will not stray out of the way, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, let thy way lead me to the life ordained for me, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, establish my feet on the way to eternal life, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, me and my family will not lose out of the way, in Jesus Name. Amen.
