Acts 12:7
“Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, (Peter) and a light shone in the prison; and he (the angel) struck Peter on the side and raised him ( Peter) up, saying “Arise quickly!” And his (Peter) chains fell off his (Peter’s) hands.”
One of the Apostles known as James was arrested by a wicked king Herod and killed him to celebrate the season. He was pleased because the people were pleased, but God was not pleased. This same king laid his hands on Peter put him in prisons, but postponed his trial and the church had time to pray. The church went into intercessory prayers which provoked an instant divine intervention from the Lord, and an angel of rescue was sent for him. Amen.
Without divine intervention Peter would have been killed the way James was killed; for another national celebration. Likewise, without divine intervention most of us would have been in serious trouble with enemies that want us dead. A ministering Angel was despatched to the scene where Peter was tied down ; as quickly as possible and on time. God intervened.
When things are unusual and seem not working well for any child of God, then there is need for divine intervention; especially when people that desire to help are becoming helpless themselves. Without doubts, we are in times of uncertainties and what we need now is the power of divine intervention for us to rescue us from the evil of Covid 19, in Jesus Name. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for sending your angel of rescue for me, and family, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, send my own ministering angel to me today to intervene for me, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, by your divine intervention deliver me from all my persecutors, known and unknown, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, as you intervene for Peter, please intervene for me in all of my difficult situations, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, show up for me and astonish my persecutors, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, let your light shine in every area of my darkness, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, stretch your hand of power of divine intervention to restore global healing in our generation, in Jesus Name. Amen.
