“CONTRARY WIND” Part 1: Wednesday August 5

Matthew 14:24

“But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves : for the wind was contrary.“

After Jesus had fed the multitudes, He despatched them away and also sent the disciples to go ahead in the ship to the other side. Why would Jesus send everybody away after such a great miracle? because he had to go alone and to be set apart and pray – Please refer to Matthew 14:23. The Bible Says Jesus went up to the mountain and was there alone.

There is need for us to always go back to God in prayers of thanksgiving every time we receive the power of God and enjoy the benefit of the power of grace. Jesus is our example. Jesus was always handy to help us out of whatever wind, no matter the speed of the wind. Jesus is the wind stiller and calmer. Jesus is faster than the wind. No matter the direction is coming from. Amen.

Brethren, the wind of grace is the opposite of the contrary wind. Jesus is also the controller of the power of the contrary wind. No matter the wind blowing now in the journey of your life, remember that Jesus is up to the task to arrest the contrary wind. Amen.

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, thank you for the wind of grace blowing to counter every contrary wind, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for arresting every wind that is contrary in my family, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, let your wind of grace blow uncommon favor into my life and family, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, calm down every contrary wind by the power of grace, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, take me far above all contrary wind, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, I come to you today, let the wind of grace overshadow every other contrary wind blowing around me, in Jesus Name.
