Genesis 22:11 & 15
11) “And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.
15) And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time.”
Out of heavens, the voice of the Lord came the second time to Abraham. When God commits to do something of great importance it would come with confirmation. Amen. As usual, Abraham was always, “Here am I” man to God. God and Abraham had come a long way and the call of God to Sacrifice his only son was a test to confirm further the/his relationship with God.
The test took Abraham to the extreme of his life because the heaven was about to open for him. The heaven actually opened twice with a voice to turn the test to eternal testimony. Abraham was approved and applauded by God by what God said and did for Abraham and his descendants who also enjoyed the fruit of his faithfulness.
It may be your turn to say “Here I am Jesus”. The heaven will open for you if you answer to the call of test. How will you attend to the test requirements? Favorably or otherwise? There is still the window of time to face your test calls with faithfulness, because God honors faith and faith honors God. Amen.
