Genesis 22:11 & 15
11) “And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.
15) And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time.”
When the Bible says the angel of the Lord is involved that is God Himself. Part of the Spirit of heaven. The great Redeemer Himself. The one that is the word of life eternal Himself is the same as the angel of the Lord. Not just angel from heaven, but the angel.
The source of the call to sacrifice Isaac from the Lord to Abraham is the same voice that called out of heaven and Abraham heard God.
The answer by Abraham’s call from God showed that he indeed loved God than he had loved his son Isaac. Even though he did not know that it was for trial. God spoke at the end of the trial and God finally intervened. God knew that Abraham had good heart to follow through the call.
God that tests is also able to make a way for us to pass the tests. God confirmed that Abraham had honored HIM by his action to sacrifice Isaac and God recognized it for him. God is aware of all your thoughts and moves. Let them put God first and God will have you in His books of remembrance. Answer the divine call and let God approve you for the voice from heaven. Amen.
