2 Corinthians 13:11 NLT
“Dear brothers and sisters, I close my letter with these last words : Be joyful. Grow in maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you. “
The above Bible passage is a prophetic admonition from Paul the Apostle’s final seasonal greetings. As we are closing the weeks and days of this month and year 2020, let all of us work and run with the season that we are! Joy and peace to the world. Jesus is the source of our own peace as believers.
Therefore, we must be joyful. Live the life of spiritual growing and maturing, especially when a child has been born and a Son has been given to our world as a bridge from the Old Testament to the New Testament to save us and make us free. Amen. Jesus is stretching His holy hands to receive us. Put your hands into His and He will lead us through to the path of joy and peace. Amen.
In the midst of confusion in almost all our social economic and political arenas, God is still our God. He has given us peace in the midst of the pandemic and joy when life is generally despicable. Hold onto Jesus the giver of hope, joy and peace. His love for you is given because He was given to us as our savior. Amen. It is your season. Be encouraged to rejoice because of Jesus. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for all the joy and peace unspeakable of this special year, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for the season good news of good tidings, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, thank you for your letter of joy and hope and peace in this special time of our generation, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, thank you for the unspeakable gift of your Only becoming Son for my unspeakable salvation, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, I hold onto my hope in you; fill every area of my lack with your undeniable joy and peace, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, release the dews of your heavens and let them come with joy and peace, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, I will not miss my own seasons of joy and peace, in Jesus Name. Amen.
