Luke 19: 33-34 NKJV
“But as they were loosing the colt, the owners of it said to them, “Why are you loosing the colt?”
34) And they said, “The Lord Has need of him.”
Today, we shall concentrate on the owners of the colt. Owners have the right to use what they own for/to their satisfaction. There is always a reason why we own things, especially things like colt. The owners might have invested in it and will definitely be expecting some ROE, which means Return On Investment. Hence, after each use; the owners had the right to tie the colt down with or without food; ready for the next task, as long as it is good to go in good health.
However, the week of Palm Sunday changed the plans and trajectory of the owners. Remember, the owners are not the creators. As a result, they had limited ownership on the colt. They are owners and did not command the final end of the colt. The power of the owners is always different form the power of the creator. What ever ; the owner owned is always subject to the power of the creator. Amen.
Who is your owner today? Man or the Lord. Your father or your mother? Let your creator be your owner, because the creator owns the owner. Brethren, you are better in the hands of the creator than owners. The creator does not change or die. The creator has power over and above the owner. Make a choice this trying and unprecedented season that coincides with the Lord’s resurrection and the life, to make Jesus the owner of your life. Amen.
