1 Peter 2:24
"Who is own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose strips ye were healed."
The above passage is pointing to the power in the Name of Jesus. Please put Jesus first in your mind throughout this month. Let the mind and Spirit of Jesus rank high and indeed first in all you encounter in life. At Calvary, Jesus submitted and bore our sins in his body for the world to see. In this vein, the cross is a message of healing and forgiveness.
The cross was a place of bearing punishment without sin, Therefore, it became a place of punishing the righteous for the unrighteous. The cross is a place where sin stopped. It is a place of completion and complete forgiveness.
Finally, the cross exposed the weakness of the devil and the strength of Jesus. The cross revealed the total redemption of the dying world. Jesus went to the cross, to receive all that we deserved and released healing for us. No doctor can heal sins and no prophet can heal sins except Jesus. He went up to the cross so that the blood can flow down to wash away the sin of mankind. This month, please reach out to Jesus for your divine healing and divine health, because the Name of Jesus is itself HEALING! Praise God.
Prayer points for the day
- 1) Father, thank you most sincerely for giving me and my family the gift of another day, week and month, in Jesus Name.
- 2) Lord, thank you for the signs and wonders of the month of the past months this year, in Jesus Name.
- 3) Lord, thank you for signs and wonders for the future days , weeks, months and years for me and my family in Jesus Name.
- 4) Father, thank you for the favors and great grace that you have bestowed upon me and my family in the past.
- 5) Lord, thank you for life and hope in Christ, in Jesus Name.
- 6) Father, thank you for your begotten son that you sent to Calvary to give me life, in Jesus Name.
- 7) Almighty God, thank you for your divine protection and preservation thus far, in Jesus Name.
- 8) Lord, thank you because by the stripes of Jesus, healing shall manifest in the body of Christ, in Jesus Name.
- 9) Father, release your divine healing for us in the land, in Jesus Name.
- 10) Father, let us live under your own divine plans for divine health in Jesus Name. Amen.
