Matthew 4:23
"And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people"
The Bible above starts by saying ‘And Jesus’, and not anyone else. No one else can heal except Jesus. Every other name can be an agency of healing through Jesus. God wanted us healed, hence He sent Jesus for that purpose. God wanted us healed and He gave some grounds to the researchers to find breakthroughs for the healing of man -kind, and still keeps many grounds to himself to use as He pleases.
There are ways God can heal His people. He can heal by miracles, signs and wonders, etc. God does not need our worries to heal us. All we need us to do is to call upon him and He will answer us. If only the people can trust their lives to God the greatest physician just as they trust the doctors, lawyers, bankers etc; healing would have been simple and not as costly as we have these days.
Again, I want to caution us here that, if God does not want us to go to the doctor, He would not have practiced the first surgery with anesthesia on Adam. The Bible informed us that God put Adam to sleep to bring forth Eve. God then gave the knowledge, wisdom and researchers followed through. When we go for doctors’ appointment we need to pray to meet the right professionals on duty. Through God, there are no trials and errors. Our God is the only accurate surgeon. He can heal you/us with signs and wonders and give grace to live a life of divine health. Praise God!
Prayer points for the day
- 1) Lord, let the power that heals penetrate critical area of my needs, in Jesus Name.
- 2) Father, let there be incredible moments of healing during this month, in Jesus Name.
- 3) Lord, heal me and let the world know that this healing is from you alone, in Jesus Name.
- 4) Almighty God, if you do not heal me, no one else can. Heal me by the stripes of Jesus. In Jesus Name.
- 5) Lord, let me and my household begin to enjoy divine healing and divine health, in Jesus Name.
- 6) Father, thank you for the blood of Jesus that heals, in Jesus Name.
- 7) Almighty God , use me as a miracle of healing this very month, in Jesus Name.
