Psalms 130:7
"Let Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption"
As we are in the month of redemption and getting ready for New Year 2014, the passage above is a confirmation that redemption is God’s own idea and He has it in abundance. The redemption from/of the Lord cannot be exhausted, even if the whole world received redemption on daily basis. God our father in heaven has prepared for our redemption since He realized the Adamic and Mosaic natures that we have taken on.
Despite the sinful state/nature of the people of God in Israel, they kept the hope in the Lord. There was a point that they all repented and sought the face of God for mercy. At some point in our lives, though we should do our part we should leave all things in the hands of God and not in the arm of our flesh. Give glory to God for the little you can do for with God there is mercy. God has the ways and blue prints to bring His people back to Himself.
Mercy prevails over our Adamic nature at all times. Mercy is part of the redemptive power of God. When mercy speaks for someone, the redemption of God kicks in big time. Perhaps all somebody reading this devotional needs today is to ask for immediate and active mercy from the Lord. It was mercy from Jesus that gave back the sight of the blind man. Mercy has the power of healing under the redemption power plan. Keep alive the hope in the Lord, because it will catch up with mercy one day. There is 11th hour mercy this month for a faithful devout Christian, in Jesus Name.
