Jeremiah 31: 12
"Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall, flow together to the goodness of the Lord, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all."
Part of the reasons God created us is to be able to sing. As a result, when we sing, there is a capacity to have joy in abundance, because of the blessed assurance of the promises of God that cannot fail. The joy that those sing have cannot be compared with people that claim they have happiness. If we do not sing, God has alternative creatures like the stones, mountains, hills, stars, seas, winds, even the birds to sing.
The goodness of God in all areas of life follows those that sing. Singing brings joy to the soul of the singer no matter what! The singer remains in good health and can expect to flow always in the equation of the goodness of God.
Singers of naive songs are different from singers of songs of salvation. A great number of people sing with worldly motives. The soul that sings will never be dry or short of the real joy of the Lord that adds no sorrow. A particular time to sing is when you feel down and disappointed. Those that sing will be like a garden that is full of water at all times. When you sing the heaven will see that your joy is full. Singing is like a therapy for unquantifiable joy. Sing, sing sing sing and your soul shall be watered by divine joy.
