Deuteronomy 31:6
"Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, He it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee"
God was about to appoint Joshua a big task to take over from Prophet Moses, yet Joshua was afraid. Does this sound like some of us? We get afraid in a new venture, whether it be a move, career etc. The good news is that God is Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent.
When God approves any position you are called into; God will put all necessary tools on your side to succeed. Fear might come, but you shall overcome. Jesus overcame for such a time of your fear. Nothing and no one but Jesus is the author and finisher of your destiny and faith. However, if God did not approve the position or upcoming change, seek the face of God for the direction.
This devotional is a reminder that when God is in it, there should be nothing to fear. It is written that we should not be afraid, because our God is ahead of the journey of life. HE knows all the obstacles and has the power to remove them. When God is with you, all obstacles shall cease to be barriers to progress. Just as the storm obeyed Jesus; obstacles too, shall bow down to God for you. Amen. Trust God with all your efforts and situations shall become a testimony, furthermore the outcome of what you are afraid of will become wonder unto many as stated in Psalms 71:7 – simply because God has promised not to fail thee. God that did not fail Joshua and Moses in their days is still the same God, therefore, He would not fail you in your own days and time. Amen.
