“TURNED TO TESTIMONY”

Luke 21:13

"And it shall turn to you for a testimony"

What did Jesus mean by telling His apostles and followers when He spoke Luke 21:13? Jesus was foreshadowing the manifestation of their upcoming blessing out of their current trials of persecutions, terror, opposition, false accusations, casting into prisons and all diverse challenges they were experiencing. From this we learn that the tests of life often turn into divine testimonies, only if your faith can endure.

Brethren, before some testimonies come, there will be tests. Be reminded that your attitude during the trials of life is the product of your faith in God. If you do not have faith you will be bitter about the tests of life. Faith grounded in the un-quenching belief in the power of God will welcome tests, knowing that such tests are platforms for the Glory of God to be displayed during testimonies. God does not test people He would not touch for rescue, our Lord will not give us more than His grace can handle. Stay positive, focus on the Lord, be expectant – your tests of life will accelerate you to the next level.

In summary, tests come as evidence of God’s love and faith in us in order to develop our potential and release our double portion of abundant blessings. Every one that was tested one way or the other in the Bible received a double portion of blessings. Abraham, Hannah, Job, Esther, even our Lord Jesus Christ were all tested and tempted, but they all ended well.
Finally, let us dispel the myth, tests are not punishments. They are divine compliments from God – for the plans He has for us is for good and not for disaster, to give us a future and a hope. When you are passing true any tests, hold on, they will be turned to testimonies, in Jesus Mighty Name.

Prayer points for the day

• 1) Lord, let my persecutions be turned into testimonies, in Jesus Name.
• 2) Lord, let the tests of life accelerate my progress to the next level, in Jesus Name.
• 3) Father, let my faith in you see me through all the tests of my life, in Jesus Mighty Name.
• 4) Lord, when I am under any tests of life, open my eyes to see your divine compliments, in Jesus Name.
• 5) Father, let me receive double portion of Jesus Spirit, in Jesus Name.
• 6) Almighty God, have your way in all my ways and let me get to my land of Goshen with covenant of peace, in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
• 7) Lord, as this year is progressing, let my life progress by your grace, in Jesus Name.
• 8) Father, water every area of my dryness, in Jesus Name. Amen.
