Isaiah 31:1
"Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong ; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the Lord."
To go down is an indication of failure. Then Egypt herself is not a place of assurance for help. Real help does not come from down below but from above. The Psalmist proved this in Psalms 121 when he confirmed that his own help came from the Lord. He looked up unto God the one who made the heaven and earth.
God is the ultimate helper. When man rises up to help, it is important to realize that the source of man’s help is God because man cannot help man if God is out of the picture. Those that trust in man for help end up with the exact level of the help of the limited power of man. However, those that trust in God can go as high as God plans for them.
Approach God as many times as you want and need on daily basis for God is never tired of helping you nor too busy to answer your requests for help. The Holy One of Israel is more than thousands of thousands of help you can get. Look up unto God – do your part. God knows the doors to open and doors to shut for your help. If you force a door open for help, you may get help that will not last but when God opens doors of help you receive help that goes to many of your generations. There is a difference between one getting help and one receiving help. The help you get is by human efforts, but the help you receive is by divine plans. Praise God.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for your divine plans to help me always in Jesus Name.
2) Father, do not allow the devil to take me out of your divine plans in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, let me continue to receive your help all the way, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, let all you plans come to pass upon my life and family. Jeremiah 29:11, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, do not allow me to miss your mercy and glory in my life, in Jesus Name.
6) Almighty God, help me to fight my battles and let me be victorious forever, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, let my divine helper hasten to locate me this month, in Jesus Name. Amen.
