“A NEW COVENANT”

Jeremiah 31:31

"Behold the days come, said the Lord that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah"

Happy New Year again. As we started the year 2014 well, the Lord will be our hope and guide to continue well and end it well in Jesus Name. Amen. It is the Year of our New Covenant.

The indication of the new covenant was given in the days of the Old Testament, still to the same people that received the old covenant. Please note that covenant is the idea of God and what we do with it is important to God.

To restore these kingdoms, and indeed lives and God’s people from captivity;  God had to make a new covenant, because He was God, who did not want to see His own people to continue in bondage and suffering in the hands of the wicked.

God did not back out from the old covenant. The people abused it with turning away from God. This is a new year. God Has decided on a new covenant and this means that no more bondage. You will begin to have enough freedom to realize who God really is. The old covenant was broken by the people of God, hence the new covenant. The new covenant brought new and closer relationship between man and God. The barrier of boundaries and limitation was dismantled with the new covenant. PRAISE GOD!

Prayer points for the day

• 1) Father, thank you from the bottom of my heart for greater grace of life and hope this New Year, in Jesus Name.
• 2) Almighty God, thank you for the greater glory of God showing all around me and my household, in Jesus Name.
• 3) Father, thank you for your sovereign power working prayers in my life, in Jesus Name.
• 4) Lord, thank you most sincerely for your loving kindness that stands for ever upon my life, in Jesus Name.
• 5) Father, give me divine strength and speed to live throughout the New Year 2014 in Jesus Name.
• 6) Lord, this is a New Year; prove what you only can do in my life and family, in Jesus Name.
• 7) Father, let there be out pouring of the abundant life stated in your new covenant for me and my household, in Jesus Name. Amennnnnn.
