Psalm 40:2-4
“He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord."
As we have been reading this since the dawn of this new month, April, 2014, many have been singing new songs as a result of what God has been doing in their lives due to their belief system of God’s power. Like King David said, “And He has put a new song in my mouth…” It is time for your own new song, in Jesus Name. Amen.
There are many rocks, but there is a ROCK. This ROCK is what we need today because it never fails, sinks or dies and can keep you above the miry clay. It can make your feet to achieve great feats and is the rock upon which you can build your hope and future. This rock secures triumph over your enemies and is the Rock that was part of a progressive rescue mission by God upon King David. This rock can also work for you!
When God sets your feet upon this rock, one will continue to make progress both spiritually and physically, because the rock defends and fights for you 24/7. Do you know this ROCK? The ROCK IS JESUS. Set your hope upon HIM. Take Him serious. He is the rock that is faithful and dependable. No one can contest Jesus, He is the solid rock that can make and break any situation. Rest your hopes on Him and He will be everything to you. PRAISE GOD!
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for being my rock that can never fails, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for the word of setting my feet upon the rock that cannot crack, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, I need a new song to sing this month, because you have already set my feet upon the solid rock, Jesus Name.
4) Father, keep my feet strong on the solid rock, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, let the new song continue in my mouth for the rest of my life, in Jesus Mighty Name.
6) Lord, fight all my battles and give me new songs of victory to sing like you gave to King David, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, let new song come into my mouth naturally and spiritually with your power, in Jesus Name Amen.
